Until Jan 2023, ActiveCampaign was a single product that could be purchase at four plan levels (Lite, Plus, Pro and Enterprise) combined with pricing based on how many active contacts were in the account
Following a change to the model, the core features of ActiveCampaign are now split into two separate products – Marketing and Sales.
The Marketing and Sales products can be purchased separately, or together as a Bundle
What you get with Marketing for ActiveCampaign
The ActiveCampaign Marketing product gives you access to automations, contacts, forms, tags, lists, campaigns, integrations, webhooks and more on the Lite plan, with more features added as you rise to Plus, Pro and Enterprise.

Pricing for Marketing with ActiveCampaign is by plan level and contact limit
What you get with Sales for ActiveCampaign
The ActiveCampaign Sales product gives you access to deals, pipelines and accounts for B2B on the Plus plan, with more features added as you rise to Pro and Enterprise.
How pricing is calculated for Sales with ActiveCampaign
Pricing for Sales with ActiveCampaign is by plan level and the number of user seats (that’s the number of people who need to login to use the ActiveCampaign account)

The ActiveCampaign Bundle product gives you access to the Marketing features and the Sales features for the Plus plan, with more features added as you rise to Pro and Enterprise.

Recent changes to the ActiveCampaign pricing page have made it hard to find the Lite plan.
To compare pricing including Lite ActiveCampaign, you need to click below the main pricing table, where it says “Only need the basics?”
To be clear, the Lite plan in ActiveCampaign is very brilliant value, rich in features, and much much more than basic in potential to help you grow your business!

Find out how the ActiveCampaign change affects pricing for legacy users
Anyone who started with ActiveCampaign before January 2023 wants to know how the pricing and product model impacts them.
The bad news for legacy accounts is that any change to contact limit or plan level will involve moving to the new product and pricing model.
Edited to add: Separately from this Jan 2023 product and pricing model change, in March 2023 prices have been increased for many legacy ActiveCampaign accounts for their existing plans.
What legacy ActiveCampaign account users need to know from early 2023
If this is you, then you will need to take extra care when changing anything about your ActiveCampaign plan:
- Your ActiveCampaign account was opened before Jan 2023
- Your ActiveCampaign plan is a single product on Lite / Plus / Professional / Enterprise
- You were locked in to legacy single-product pricing and could change contact limit or plan level within that
Legacy ActiveCampaign accounts will move to new product and pricing model if and when they:
- choose to increase or decrease their contact limit
- choose to go up or down in plan level
This mean any change to your existing ActiveCampaign plan will jump you straight into the new pricing from whatever legacy pricing you’re on at the time.
5 Impacts on legacy ActiveCampaign account holders from Jan 2023
- Changing contact limit will move your account to higher pricing
- Changing access to features will move your account to split Marketing and Sales
- Choosing just Marketing only will likely reduce or remove access to features
- Choosing the Bundle will move your account to higher pricing
